These Terms govern your use of the Shiftzi application and website (the "Service"), operated by Shiftzi ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Access to the Service is arranged by an organization — your employer or another account administrator (the "Customer"). If you are an employee or team member, the Customer creates and manages your account, decides what you can see and do, and can suspend or remove your access. If you administer a workspace, you are responsible for the accounts you create for your team and for obtaining any consents needed to add their information to the Service.
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Where the Customer's access to the Service is provided under a paid arrangement, that arrangement is between us and the Customer, and the Customer is solely responsible for the applicable fees on the terms agreed with us at the time. Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Payments, where they apply, are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not receive or store full card details. Individual team members are never charged for their own access, and nothing is purchased through this application. The Customer may end its arrangement with us, after which access to the workspace ends as described in section 7.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: violating laws, infringing others' rights, attempting to breach security or access other companies' data, reverse-engineering the Service, or using it to store unlawful content.
You retain ownership of the data you put into Shiftzi. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service (store, process, and display your data to your authorized users). Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
Shiftzi provides tools to record time and estimate pay. You are responsible for verifying hours, overtime, and pay calculations and for compliance with applicable labor and tax laws. Shiftzi is not a payroll provider, accountant, or legal advisor.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shiftzi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount paid to us for the Service in the prior 12 months.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
